Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Old Harp Singing - The Old Harp Singers of Tennessee by Tim Hawkinson was sold in the Phillips x Artsy Summer School auction at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,615.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tim Hawkinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work H.M.S.O in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 50,918.01).

Die Arbeit Old Harp Singing - The Old Harp Singers of Tennessee von Tim Hawkinson wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.615,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tim Hawkinson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit H.M.S.O im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 50.918,01).
