Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Lens by Tim Hawkinson. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,491.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Tim Hawkinson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work H.M.S.O was auctioned for USD 68,500.00 (€ 50,918.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lens von Tim Hawkinson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.491,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tim Hawkinson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit H.M.S.O für USD 68.500,00 (€ 50.918,01) versteigert.
