The work Springer by Thoralf Knobloch was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,207.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thoralf Knobloch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Merkwürden, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).

Die Arbeit Springer von Thoralf Knobloch wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.207,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Thoralf Knobloch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Merkwürden beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19) versteigert wurde.
