Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Basket, 2 by Thoralf Knobloch for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,586.62). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thoralf Knobloch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merkwürden in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Basket, 2 von Thoralf Knobloch für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.586,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thoralf Knobloch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merkwürden im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19).
