Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Zipp could be acquired at Phillips in New York in April 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Black Dada changed hands for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,450.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Zipp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Medicine # 1“. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 81,250.00.
