Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Gertrudtin by Thomas Zipp. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Zipp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Medicine # 1“. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 81,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gertrudtin von Thomas Zipp zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Zipp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Medicine # 1“. im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 81.250,00.
