Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit, which included the work SMAK by Thomas Zipp. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,788.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Zipp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Medicine # 1“. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 81,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit durch, in der auch die Arbeit SMAK von Thomas Zipp zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.788,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Zipp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Medicine # 1“. im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 81.250,00.
