Die Arbeit CLASSIC-EDITION von Thomas Rentmeister wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Moderne und Zeitgenössische Kunst bei VAN HAM versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 903,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Rentmeister erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.965,00.
