Admittedly, works by Thomas Matthews Rooke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Clytie Turning Towards The Sun in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,676.11).
