A top price for Thomas Lerooy
In February 2016 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Le Petit Jean by Thomas Lerooy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,822.37), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Le Petit Jean is even the most expensive work of art by Thomas Lerooy that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Thomas Lerooy
Im Februar 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Petit Jean von Thomas Lerooy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.822,37) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Le Petit Jean sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Thomas Lerooy, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
