Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Looking for the sun by Thomas Lerooy. The price achieved of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 11,828.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Thomas Lerooy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2016 the work Le Petit Jean was auctioned for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,822.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Looking for the sun von Thomas Lerooy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 11.828,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Thomas Lerooy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2016 die Arbeit Le Petit Jean für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.822,37) versteigert.
