Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Thomas Hazlehurst; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A young boy, facing left in blue coat, white shirt with frilled collar, long curling fair hair sold at auction in May 2002 with the realized price of GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,614.16).
