Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Mary Ryding, Née Pownall by Thomas Hazlehurst was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,514.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Hazlehurst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A young boy, facing left in blue coat, white shirt with frilled collar, long curling fair hair, which sold at auction in May 2002 for GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,614.16).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Mary Ryding, Née Pownall von Thomas Hazlehurst kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.514,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
