Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 22.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theo van Doesburg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Contra-Composition Vii im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.184.000,00 (€ 3.110.086,97).
