Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art | New York, which included the work En Passant by Terry Rodgers. The »bidding war« ended at USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,726.52), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terry Rodgers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Variable Frequencies of Restraint, which sold at auction in December 2021 for EUR 106,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit En Passant von Terry Rodgers zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.726,52) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Terry Rodgers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Variable Frequencies of Restraint beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für EUR 106.250,00 versteigert wurde.
