It achieved a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,265.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terence Donovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).

Die Arbeit Julie Christie, 1962 von Terence Donovan kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.265,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Terence Donovan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 beobachtet, die im März 2020 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.292,05) versteigert wurde.
