Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Terence Donovan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,015.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terence Donovan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Terence Donovan kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.015,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terence Donovan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.292,05).
