This artwork by Terence Donovan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2019. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Julie Christie Ii, 1962 sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,103.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terence Donovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Terence Donovan erzielte im September 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Julie Christie Ii, 1962 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.103,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Terence Donovan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 beobachtet, die im März 2020 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.292,05) versteigert wurde.
