Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included this untitled work by Terence Donovan. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,450.84). Admittedly, works by Terence Donovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Terence Donovan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.450,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terence Donovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.292,05).
