Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Jean Shrimpton, 1967 by Terence Donovan. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,363.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terence Donovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).
