Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Smith Street by Tan Choh Tee. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 128,000.00 (€ 15,342.22). Other works by Tan Choh Tee have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,827.40) in April 2018 for the work Fruits Stall .
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Smith Street von Tan Choh Tee zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 128.000,00 (€ 15.342,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Tan Choh Tee haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.827,40) im April 2018 für die Arbeit Fruits Stall beobachtet.
