The work Roadside Stall by Tan Choh Tee was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,248.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tan Choh Tee; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Fruits Stall sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,827.40).

Die Arbeit Roadside Stall von Tan Choh Tee kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.248,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tan Choh Tee; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Fruits Stall im April 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.827,40).
