A top price for Tan Choh Tee - as previously expected
The work Fruits Stall by Tan Choh Tee was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,827.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fruits Stall is the most expensive artwork by Tan Choh Tee that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Fruits Stall von Tan Choh Tee kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.827,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Fruits Stall das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tan Choh Tee, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
