This artwork by Tala Madani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Viewing Party sold for GBP 38,100.00 (€ 43,346.11) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tala Madani; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Elastic Pink sold at auction in February 2015 with the realized price of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tala Madani erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Viewing Party für GBP 38.100,00 (€ 43.346,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tala Madani; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Elastic Pink im Februar 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 65.495,45).
