Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Wa - Unity by Yamaguchi Takeo. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 100,011.21). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yamaguchi Takeo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ho (Crawl) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 12,450,000.00 (€ 1,478,082.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wa - Unity von Yamaguchi Takeo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 100.011,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yamaguchi Takeo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ho (Crawl) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.450.000,00 (€ 1.478.082,19).
