A top price for Yamaguchi Takeo - as previously expected
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale, which included the work Ho (Crawl) by Yamaguchi Takeo. The price achieved of HKD 12,450,000.00 (€ 1,478,082.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000,000.00 – 15,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ho (Crawl) is the most expensive artwork by Yamaguchi Takeo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ho (Crawl) von Yamaguchi Takeo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.450.000,00 (€ 1.478.082,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000.000,00 – 15.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ho (Crawl) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yamaguchi Takeo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
