Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Heimen (Plane) by Yamaguchi Takeo. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 48,675.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yamaguchi Takeo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ho (Crawl) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 12,450,000.00 (€ 1,478,082.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Heimen (Plane) von Yamaguchi Takeo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 48.675,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yamaguchi Takeo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ho (Crawl) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.450.000,00 (€ 1.478.082,19).
