Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included this untitled work by T. V. Santhosh. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 39,667.39). Admittedly, works by T. V. Santhosh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Traces of an Ancient Error in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 337,000.00 (€ 213,223.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von T. V. Santhosh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 39.667,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von T. V. Santhosh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Traces of an Ancient Error im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 337.000,00 (€ 213.223,66).
