Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work For A Life Lost Between Bullets And Bombs by T. V. Santhosh was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,079.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by T. V. Santhosh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Traces of an Ancient Error in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 337,000.00 (€ 213,223.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit For A Life Lost Between Bullets And Bombs von T. V. Santhosh kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.079,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von T. V. Santhosh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Traces of an Ancient Error im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 337.000,00 (€ 213.223,66).
