Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Regina Liest by Susanne Kühn. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,342.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Susanne Kühn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kinderzimmer, which sold at auction in October 2011 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,699.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Regina Liest von Susanne Kühn zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.342,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Susanne Kühn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kinderzimmer beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.699,56) versteigert wurde.
