This artwork by Susan Hefuna achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2018. In the The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints auction, the work Building sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,426.76) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Susan Hefuna achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not For Sale - Enta Omri in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 30,376.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Susan Hefuna erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints wurde die Arbeit Building für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.426,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Susan Hefuna erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not For Sale - Enta Omri im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 30.376,67).
