It achieved a price of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,780.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Susan Hefuna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Not For Sale - Enta Omri in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 30,376.67).

Die Arbeit Masharabiya Series (2) von Susan Hefuna wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.780,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Susan Hefuna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Not For Sale - Enta Omri im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 30.376,67).
