Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sun Xun could be acquired at Bonhams in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Six Drawings changed hands for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,484.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sun Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 21 G in October 2015 with an auction result of CNY 562,500.00 (€ 80,640.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sun Xun konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Six Drawings für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.484,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sun Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 21 G im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 562.500,00 (€ 80.640,96).
