In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction The World Is A Sphere: Art from the Faurschou Foundation, which included the work Draft of Film Scene by Sun Xun. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,668.54), 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sun Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 21 G in October 2015 with an auction result of CNY 562,500.00 (€ 80,640.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion The World Is A Sphere: Art from the Faurschou Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit Draft of Film Scene von Sun Xun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.668,54) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sun Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 21 G im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 562.500,00 (€ 80.640,96).
