Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Doormat: Leave Me Alone by Do-Ho Suh. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 11,055.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Do-Ho Suh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Some/One in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Doormat: Leave Me Alone von Do-Ho Suh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 11.055,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Do-Ho Suh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Some/One im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
