Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Broken Continuum: Struggle by Stephen G. Rhodes for USD 62.00 (€ 56.22). This price was achieved in the auction First Open/ NYC at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephen G. Rhodes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ssspecific Object in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,819.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Broken Continuum: Struggle von Stephen G. Rhodes für USD 62,00 (€ 56,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open/ NYC bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stephen G. Rhodes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ssspecific Object im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.819,92).
