Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Inkantinent Mochte Gemacht; Texas by Stephen G. Rhodes for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,221.37). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition at Christies and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Stephen G. Rhodes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ssspecific Object in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,819.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Inkantinent Mochte Gemacht; Texas von Stephen G. Rhodes für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.221,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition bei Christies erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stephen G. Rhodes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ssspecific Object im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.819,92).
