Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Uncounted Etc (Untitled) by Stephen G. Rhodes for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,043.08). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen G. Rhodes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ssspecific Object, which sold at auction in October 2013 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,819.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Uncounted Etc (Untitled) von Stephen G. Rhodes für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.043,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephen G. Rhodes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ssspecific Object beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.819,92) versteigert wurde.
