Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work The Owner Of The Forest by Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia for USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,236.25). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Head Of A Woman in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 88,124.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Owner Of The Forest von Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia für USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.236,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Head Of A Woman im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 88.124,22).
