In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Female Bust by Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,702.98), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Head Of A Woman, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 88,124.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Female Bust von Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.702,98) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Stepan Dmitrievich Erzia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Head Of A Woman beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 88.124,22) versteigert wurde.
