This artwork by Song Meiling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August last year. In the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction, the work Flowers and Butterflies; Poems in Running Script sold for HKD 22,950.00 (€ 2,904.95) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Meiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Misty Mountains in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,066.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Song Meiling erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Flowers and Butterflies; Poems in Running Script für HKD 22.950,00 (€ 2.904,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Meiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Misty Mountains im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.066,06).
