The work Misty Mountains by Song Meiling was worth HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,066.06) to a buyer in November 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Misty Mountains the most expensive artwork by Song Meiling that we have observed at auctions so far.
