Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rosa Chinensis by Song Meiling was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,503.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Meiling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Misty Mountains, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,066.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rosa Chinensis von Song Meiling kam im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.503,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Meiling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Misty Mountains beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.066,06) versteigert wurde.
