The work Snowy Landscape by Song Meiling was worth HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,370.84) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Song Meiling; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Misty Mountains sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,066.06).
