Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II, which included the work Butterfly And Flowers by Song Meiling. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 8,400.00 (€ 1,006.83). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Meiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Misty Mountains in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,066.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Butterfly And Flowers von Song Meiling zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 8.400,00 (€ 1.006,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Meiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Misty Mountains im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.066,06).
