Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Sans titre by Sofu Teshigahara was worth EUR 6,875.00 to a buyer in June 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Art Contemporain Vente du jour at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Sofu Teshigahara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Sofu Teshigahara war einem Käufer im Juni 2017 EUR 6.875,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du jour bei Christies in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sofu Teshigahara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93).
