In October 2016 Christies in London held the auction Through a Collector's Eye: The Kenzo Kagami Collection of Postwar Japanese Art, which included the work Myokan by Sofu Teshigahara. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,000.00 (€ 38,991.06), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Sofu Teshigahara have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93) in April 2016 for the work Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Through a Collector's Eye: The Kenzo Kagami Collection of Postwar Japanese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Myokan von Sofu Teshigahara zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 38.991,06) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Sofu Teshigahara haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93) im April 2016 für die Arbeit Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) beobachtet.
