The work Tableau Graphisme by Sofu Teshigahara was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,741.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Sofu Teshigahara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tableau Graphisme von Sofu Teshigahara kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.741,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sofu Teshigahara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93).
