A top price for Sofu Teshigahara - as previously expected
The work Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) by Sofu Teshigahara was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) is the most expensive artwork by Sofu Teshigahara that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) von Sofu Teshigahara kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sofu Teshigahara, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
