Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work "Patterns of failure" by Sirous Namazi for SEK 37,000.00 (€ 4,070.47). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sirous Namazi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Utan titel", 2002, which sold at auction in November 2010 for SEK 130,000.00 (€ 14,210.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Patterns of failure" von Sirous Namazi für SEK 37.000,00 (€ 4.070,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sirous Namazi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Utan titel", 2002 beobachtet, die im November 2010 für SEK 130.000,00 (€ 14.210,65) versteigert wurde.
